OUR EVENTS
Our three annual events promote the goal of making Port Royal a sought-after destination, while maintaining its small-town feel and encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to enjoy community fellowship, fun and food. The added benefit is that many of these visitors stay in the area and spend their money at local businesses, restaurants and hotels.
Soft Shell Crab
Festival
The festival features the Lowcountry’s famous soft shell crabs served in a variety of styles by area chefs, as well as craft vendors, entertainment and activities suitable for individuals of all ages.
OktoPRfest
“OktoPRfest – Party Port Royal Style,” the event features local chefs, restaurants and food trucks serving up German-inspired dishes that will be properly washed down, Oktoberfest-style, with a variety of craft, imported and domestic beers.
Christmas Golf Cart Parade
Many residents in the town of Port Royal are proud owners of golf carts, and the Annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade is a chance for them to showcase their carts decked out with festive decorations and compete in a competition for “Best in Show.”
